A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

A few days ago, while away in the UK, I read a blog post written by a dear friend of mine, fellow writer LauraLynn Elliott. She is currently going through a rather difficult time, as her husband has been in the Intensive Care ward at their local hospital with a number of horrible blood clots.

LauraLynn, has been by his side every day since he was admitted. Both her and her husband are currently out of work, and she is relying on her book sales to help get through this tough time.

Now, I already own the majority of LauraLynn’s books, so this is my attempt to help her get by. She is a loving friend who is always there for people when they need a friendly ear, a shoulder to cry on or a kick up the ass. I have often had many discussion with her on our respective blogs, and can honestly say, she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. If you have not read her blog, then I highly recommend it. Her posts are not long-winded, but short, sharp and very well written.

I am not telling you to buy her books, but I am asking you to at least help me spread the word of a writer in need of a little bit of help. She is staying strong through difficult times, and financial troubles should not be allowed to cause her further stresses.

Whether you reblog this post, share her Amazon author page or grab your own copy of some of her books, the most of which are priced at just 99 cents, then you are helping someone through a difficult time, and that makes you a great person in my book.

With books ranging from horror to paranormal romance, and all ports in between, almost any reader will be able to find a character, or piece that they just cannot put down.

We are all in this crazy boat of life together, and if we cannot support one another, then we have indeed started down the path towards an empty existence.

  1. Just bought a couple and tweeted about it. Please tell LauraLynn we’re all thinking of her and her husband. And hope he will soon be well again!

      1. If we don’t help each other then who will? I hope you keep us updated on how Lauralynn’s husband is getting along.
