When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
For as long as I can remember, I have always written. I started reading at a young age, and I was hooked. I remember reading IT when I was about 10 years old. It didn’t scare me, it astounded me. My eyes had been opened to a new world. I remember the very moment I decided to write my first book. I was about 15, on holiday in Spain with a friend and his family. The resort shut down for the siesta every afternoon and I was bored, sitting in the apartment, and suddenly I got this idea, and I just had to write it down.
